Four Kings, Three Lands, One Confrontation…

The ancient world of Stygia had been ravaged with war and chaos through many ages. Now a time of peace is covering the lands of Asper, Sedok and Ancienterra. Three Kings, each with their own ideologies and motives, now live in what seems to be the first age of peace in recorded history. But a seed was planted in the hearts of the people… A seed of deception, a seed of anguish, a seed of evil…

Something lurks deep in the hearts of the Asperian and Sedokian people… Something long ago that tormented and twisted their lives around... Something, that even now, seeks to reenter their world. Krakkus, the fourth king and Stygian Lord awaits his revenge.

The Shadow War

In the last age of war in Stygia, Krakkus, the Lord of Shadows, and his armies invaded lands of Asper and Sedok. After conquering the lands he took the throne as their King. His armies slaughtered countless soldiers of the opposing lands. His reign of terror was spreading. His evil covered every corner of the world. His influence was strong. If it were not for the unlikely alliance between two kingdoms that were always considered great enemies, Krakkus would have reigned supreme and his plan of total domination would have sealed the fate for the world.

Isaar and Mondor, the rulers of Asper and Sedok, joined together. They knew they could not lead a mortal army to the doorsteps of Krakkus’s demon guarded fortress. They would, instead, lead a quest that would take ages. They searched for the roots of Krakkus’s power. Many men perished in this journey of knowledge. Finally they found the key through a set of ancient artifacts. Nobody truly knows which artifacts were used or even where the kings finally acquired them. But they were powerful enough to push back Krakkus’s army and force Krakkus himself into depths of the underworld.

The Four Kings

Isaar, ruler of Asper, is the leader of the great warrior races. His life has been full of battles and victory. Under the rule of Isaar, men learn to fight and die with honor. They hold their hammers high and shout with might and chant for glory on the battlefield. He is a merciless man who fears nothing and stands before the armies of the world and spits into their faces.

Mondor the Great rose from the ranks of the Sedokian Knights. These knights fought back the forces of Krakkus during the last great battles of the Shadow War. He and his ranks vanquished the evil warriors and liberated the lands of Sedok for the people. He now sits at the head of the throne and strives to give all Sedokians a tranquil life, free of the evils from Krakkus. He is known as a strong, stern leader with great compassion.

Fargol the Wanderer is the king of the nomadic tribes that lived across Ancienterra. Ancienterra was never settled by most races of the land. It was more of a vast frontier of unexplored wonders. Fargol and his nomadic tribes rejected the large social structures of Sedok. They also had no desire to mingle with the barbaric nature of the Asperian people.

The nomadic tribes are at one with the land and the creatures that roam it. However, since Krakkus was vanquished from the world, an evil seed was still planted in the hearts of some of the tribes. They began to settle in small pockets. They began warring with each other for land and resources. Fargol rejected the settlements but at the same time wanted to prevent a harsh civil war. So he instructed his armies to protect the land.

Krakkus, Lord of Shadows is the offspring of a great evil force that once reigned over all lands. This beast has had great influence on all the people of the world. His evil ways tainted their hearts and minds. He formed great armies and used his arcane powers to raise the dead and summon hellion beasts to fight along his side. He wanted to rid the lands of all that was not black at heart. The rulers of Asper and Sedok stood up to Krakkus and with the use of some powerful ancient artifacts. Their armies pushed back the hoards of Krakkus and sent his essence to the underworld.
